Student Union Food Bank

For those of you who are experiencing financial hardship the Student Union Food Bank is stocked full with food, toiletries and period products for those of you who may need it. When campus is open, you can pop in and ask Harriet or Paige if you would like to pick some food for yourself. Simply pop into the Student Union Office or drop us an email.

During the Coronavirus pandemic, we are also using this service to support those of you who may be self-isolating or vulnerable. In this case we can make up a food parcel based on your preferences, allergies and dietary requirements to be delivered locally to you.

If you would like to donate to the Student Union Food Bank, please email us and drop your donations to the Student Union Office or Tavistock Place Reception.

Lockdown 2021 Update

During the third national lockdown (January 4 - ongoing) the Student Union Team have limited access to the campus, only intermittently for access to the Student Union Food Bank.

If you are in need of food, toiletries or period products during this time, please email your Student Union President, Harriet Moore, who is running the Student Union Food Bank from her flat and can arrange collection or delivery of a parcel for you.

I found out about the food bank during a rep meeting and it's so lovely to have this support available, and a big thank you to the SU team for making me less ashamed to ask for help.

I honestly can't thank you enough for the food parcel. Your generosity is overwhelming, and I'm so very thankful to Harriet for sorting me out a safe collection during the lockdown.
